LAMBORGHINI HAS CREATED FOUR UNIQUE STERRATO LIVERIES INSPIRED BY NATURE

Lamborghini has rolled out a few special edition liveries of its Huracan Sterrato, dubbed the ‘All-Terrain Ad Personam’ special series, and they’re very cool. In essence, there are four different matt camo coats applied across Lambo’s loose surface hooligan, inspired by the various terrains the Sterrato no doubt plans on conquering.

These include the ‘earthiness of avid deserts’ and ‘off-beat tracks’, though TopGear.com disappointed there's no 'posturing through central London revving the engine at midnight' livery, since that’s where we suspect 90 per cent of them will actually be found.

In all seriousness, the four that have been created are as follows: ‘Bosco’ (forests), ‘Neve (snow), Sabbia (sand), and Terra (gravel). Their respective liveries are all combined with matt black bonnets and roofs, and forged 19in alloys.

Owners will even get extra lights and calipers painted in the theme of their choosing. So that means brakes inspired by Harrods in Knightsbridge for the forthcoming London edition, then? OK fine, we’ll stop.

The 5.2-litre V10 - which is being retired this year after an eternity of service - has been unchanged. So you’ll still get 602bhp and 413lb ft of torque to play with just as comfortably on the road as you will off the beaten track. That’s courtesy of Lambo’s nifty all-wheel-drive system and self-locking differential, which keep the Sterrato firmly planted en route to a 3.4s jaunt to 62mph before hitting the limiter at 160.

Stephan Winkelmann, Lambo boss, said: “The Huracan Sterrato disrupted the super sports car landscape from the moment of its launch. The All-Terrain Sterrato celebrates its distinctive, multi-layer personality, always as much a super sports car as an explorer of new roads. Like nature, the Sterrato cannot be confined and will always find a way to carve innovative routes.”

Predictably, the total production run of 12 units are all pre-sold.
