COMMENTERS, ASSEMBLE: THIS IS MANSORY’S ROLLS-ROYCE SPECTRE

This is what Mansory calls a ‘complete vehicle conversion’ of the Rolls-Royce Spectre. There’s a bit of info to get through here before you can dive into the comments, so without further ado...

Unusually for Mansory, there isn’t actually any more power. The German tuner has decided to stay well away from the Spectre’s electric powertrain, meaning you’ll be stuck with the standard 576bhp and 664lb ft of torque being sent to all four wheels.

The visual addendums more than make up for the lack of extra grunt. Mansory has given the Spectre a full carbon fibre bodykit, which includes a front lip, a carbon bonnet, a rear diffuser, side skirts, two small rear spoilers, many fake air intakes and some strange surrounds for the rear lights that make the lamps resemble the wrong end of a baboon. Lovely.

There are new daytime running lights up front too (with carbon fibre surrounds, of course) plus you can have colourful new lights that illuminate the otherwise blacked-out grille. There are also new forged wheels which are 23in on the front axle and a whopping 24in at the rear.

And if all of that wasn’t enough, Mansory will also... 'convert' (read: attack) the interior of your new £300k+ EV. Apparently its upholstery shop uses “only the finest materials”, with this particular car getting lots of garish orange leather, a carbon fibre sports steering wheel and many more carbon accents. Mansory also says the door panels and dash are fitted with new LEDs, which apparently “create a pleasantly soft light throughout the passenger compartment”. Not sure we’d use those words exactly.
