Can a cheap €12K E55 AMG become a dream wagon?

An AMG specialist discusses common problems, engine reliability and possible upgrades before a detailed repair plan is created. Work then begins by removing the damaged door and fender, transferring the necessary components into replacement panels and reinstalling everything, although mismatched paint shows that further cosmetic work will be required.

The Ecuador Blue truck was built to be driven, not trailered, and has already completed roughly 95 autocross laps. During the first road test, fuel and sensor issues caused drivability problems, but after fixing the O2 sensor, boost-control hose, and fuel setup, the truck returned running properly. The result is a C10 that accelerates hard, grips through corners, and feels far more like a performance machine than a traditional pickup. Its combination of custom interior work, turbo power, suspension engineering, and genuine autocross use makes it one of the most complete C10 builds featured here.
